Can we please stop making fun of/getting angry at a girl with clear mental health issues. It’s a huge shame that she isn’t getting the help she needs simply because she wraps her psychosis in a generally tolerated mythology. These aren’t beliefs she is spouting. They’re the words of a girl who needs therapy.

Congrats on spotting a hole in the logic of a mentally ill teenager. Jeez, this is what I just said, you guys. She doesn’t deserve to be made fun of. The fact that she hides her problems behind the shroud of religion does not entitle people to mock her. Anybody can see this goes beyond a personal belief that might be considered a little silly. She believes that thousands of people dying in a tragic natural event is a good thing. Regardless of her reasoning, that is psychotic and not deserving of anyone’s scorn or mockery.
